Feeding Instructions for Your Dog

If your dog has a severe skin condition, add 3 drops of
Pure Emu Oil to each feeding of Royal Nutrition Plan for
10 days;then return to regular feeding.

Adult Dogs: Royal Nutrition Plan Formula Dog Food can
be fed straight from the bag. For variety, moisten with
no more than one cup of warm liquid for every four
cups of food. A dog should be maintained in good body
condition and no allowed to become overweight. The food
intake required to maintain good body condition will
vary depending on age, activity level, environment and
other stress factors. Consequently, the food requirement
for each dog will vary and should be adjusted accordingly

Use the standard chart below as a guide. Pregnant,
nursing and hardworking dogs or dogs exposed to cold
weather may require 2-3 times these amounts. When
high activity or other factors require high feed intake,
twice a day feeding is recommended. However, for most
normally active dogs over one year old, once a day
feeding is usually sufficient.

For dogs 90 lbs. or over, feed approximately one cup* of food per 15 pounds of body weight.

*Amounts are based on a standard 8 ounce dry measuring cup.

Puppies: At 3-4 weeks of age, begin feeding pups Royal Nutrition Plan Formula Dog Food softened with warm water. Feed as much as they will consume three times a day until six months old, then twice a day until nine month old. when fed dry, Royal Nutrition Plan Formula may be kept before the pups at all times.

Pregnant and Lactating Dogs: During pregnancy, feed the female twice each day, adjusting the amount to provide weight gain without becoming overweight. After whelping, the nursing female will need 2-3 times her normal food intake to maintain proper body condition.
